Lenovo Chromebook C330 Review
The Lenovo Chromebook C330 is a durable laptop from the Lenovo brand. The 2 in 1 convertible laptop is one of the most popular devices in the market. The laptop and tablet are especially known because of its incredible 10 hours battery life. The laptop is great for those who want to remain productive while on the move.
The Lenovo C330 is very affordable and also has a very comfortable keyboard for typing. It packs a 12.6-inch display screen that allows you enough viewing area.
The Chromebook device is made of plastic but its design is a bit bulky as it’s bezels are about 0.8inches thick. The Lenovo Chromebook C330 weighs 2.4 pounds and has a 360-degree hinge that allows you to rotate it conveniently. The convertible nature of this device allows you to use this device like a laptop, a tablet, display or a stand.
The display of this laptop is a bit poor as it packs a resolution of 1466 X 768p which is common in most 11.6inch Chromebooks. The display is a bit dull and its colour is not so accurate. The display screen is also a touchscreen and it responds to your hand gestures accurately. You can easily tap on the screen and scroll smoothly.
Keyboard and Touchpad
The Lenovo Chromebook device is great for typing. It has a clicking sound when you press any of the keys and allows you conveniently type fast even though it has low key travel of 1.2mm.
The laptop’s touchpad is very accurate and allows you to surf the web conveniently. The system quickly recognises the three-finger navigation gestures for Chrome OS.
The sound on this device is not so loud but will be clear only in a medium-sized room. The sound quality is also not particularly great as it is missing a bass feature. You will need the Lenovo Chromebook C330 connected to a headphone accessory for better sound quality.
The Chromebook does not multitask easily because of its MediaTek MT8173C processor which uses 4GB of RAM. The processor speed is on this Chromebook is slow.
The Lenovo Chromebook has a poor webcam. The 0.9-megapixel camera does not capture accurate images. The images are very grainy and the camera is sensitive to light.
What Do We like
The Chromebook has a battery life that can last through the day’s work. The battery can last up to 9 hours and 51 minutes. This is longer than what you will find in most Chromebook devices.
The laptop has ports on both its left and right sides. You will find a USB Type C port, an HDMI t, a USB 3.0 port and an SD card reader all on the left side. The right side of the device holds the 3.5mm headphone jack, security lock slot, the volume control and the power button.
What We Don’t Like
The display on this device is very poor because of its low resolution.
The Lenovo Chromebook C330 is a great device. It does not heat up even after using it for a long time. You can use the Chromebook as a laptop and a tablet depending on what you need. It is very comfortable to carry around and most importantly very affordable.
