The 110 degrees of wide-angle view does not cover the whole area of your house, but that is not a problem because you can pan the camera’s face anywhere you like. You can tilt the camera 340 degrees horizontally and 95 degrees vertically for a better view. Use the YI Home app on your smartphone to rotate the face of the camera.
Time-lapse
This is one of the key features of this YI dome camera. Using your YI Home app you can do many things and one of them is, you can create time-lapse videos of 5-30 seconds using 6-hour long footage by compressing it.
You can also create longer time-lapse videos than this duration but that would require an in-app purchase of the YI Cloud backup.
